I find myself enjoying books made for young adult. Eversince Twilight, I never imagine I would delight myself with vampires and demons, the gross and the bad, the ugly and the magical.
Reading through the 9-12 and YA was like going through puberty, falling inlove and feeling clumsy and unsure all over again. I've always been in the genre of detectives and agents, or the more mature Mills and Boon, Silhouette and Harlequin while I was growing up. Sidney Sheldon and Danielle Steele were faves in my High School days. It was in college when I started indulging in historical romance fiction.
Now at 32, I'm like a kid going over some good candies when I look at the YA books I wanted to read. I get excited when the YA I held from the library is mine to consume. It was like I was just discovering me.
Oh well, I'll always be young at heart no matter how old I become. And so I read.
